The All Progressives Congress in Edo State has cleared all 12 governorship aspirants forward of the occasion's primaries scheduled for February 17.
The aspirants are vying for the occasion's state gubernatorial ticket within the upcoming September 2024 governorship election.
The APC introduced that twelve candidates will take part within the screening course of forward of the occasion's primaries.
Nevertheless, the Nationwide Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and the Nationwide Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, had been absent from the swearing-in ceremony which passed off on the APC Nationwide Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday at 12 midday.

Charles Airhiavbere; former Governor Oserheimen Osunbor; former Zonal Organizational Secretary (South-South), Dr. Blessing Agbohmere; member representing Ovia South/West-Ovia North/East federal constituency, Dennis Idahosa and Dr. Ernest Umakhihe.
The assertion learn: “The Edo State Gubernatorial Aspirants Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has screened and accepted all twelve gubernatorial aspirants who bodily introduced themselves to be screened by the occasion's screening committee.
“All twelve candidates who bought the Fotms and Expression of Curiosity Nomination Kinds had been screened by the Screening Committee over a two-day interval between Thursday, February 8, 2024 and Friday, February 9, 2024.
