There’s pressure in Esa-Oke group in Obokun Native Authorities Space Osun State over alleged plans to relocate Osun State Faculty of Expertise (OSCOTECH) to a different metropolis.
Youths in the neighborhood protested in opposition to the alleged plots of the Osun state authorities. They stormed the homes of chiefs and group leaders to warn of the plots, saying, “We would shoot ourselves.”
In a video by The Nation, the youth visited houses of group heads. The chief of the youths instructed one of many heads: “We’re about to warn in opposition to the federal government's plan to relocate 10 of the 16 programs in OSCOTECH to Ibokun (Group of the Chairman of the Board of Administrators ) and Ipetu.
“If the federal government goes forward with the deliberate transfer, it won’t be simple for them. We’re going to besiege the doorway to the college and all of the masqueraders of the group will be part of us tomorrow.

However Odeyemi denied the allegation in a press release on Monday.
He stated: “We’re not shifting any division away from the principle campus of the faculty. What we plan to do is increase our educational scope by establishing new packages with out additional burdening the establishment's funds.
“The council plans to hunt NBTE approval for a proposed mass communication programme. The brand new program proposed requires the institution of the mandatory services for educating and practicals. In Ibokun, now we have a broadcasting station owned by the Osun State Authorities that can be utilized for the coaching of scholars after accreditation is obtained.”
Commissioner for Training, Dipo Eluwole, in a press release, defined: “We’ve seen that there’s chaos in Esa-Oke Municipality, over the rumor that the state authorities is planning to ascertain a satellite tv for pc campus of the Osun State Faculty of Expertise, Esa-Oke at Ibokun.
