It was a gathering of who's who in Nigeria on the Civic Middle, Lagos, lately throughout an awards ceremony by Iconic Legacy Media Restricted, chaired by Ambassador Mayor David Buchieze.
Through the ceremony, personalities who had distinguished themselves in varied fields have been rewarded.
One of many standout personalities of the day was Brig. Normal IE Akpaumontia, Deputy Director, Peacekeeping Operations, Protection Headquarters, Abuja, who was awarded “Artistic Navy Officer of the 12 months 2022 and 2023.
In his remarks, Akpaumontia appreciated the organizers for locating him worthy of the honour, and prayed for God's grace and energy to do extra in his service to humanity in his homeland.
Acknowledged for his outstanding achievements and recognized for his ardour for army providers, Akpaumontia is a member of the 43 common course of the Nigeria Protection Academy and a seasoned senior Infantry Normal of the Nigerian Military.
He graduated from the celebrated Nigerian Protection Academy Kaduna in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Protection Research and was commissioned into the Nigerian Military Infantry Corps. He additionally holds a Masters Diploma in Regulation Enforcement and Felony Justice from Ahmadu Bello College Zaria, a Masters Diploma in Political Science from the College of Lagos, an Advance Diploma in Safety from the College of Lagos and a Masters Diploma in Safety and Strategic Research from the College of Lagos. He’s a former and the forty fifth Commander of the well-known 9 Brigade Nigerian Military Ikeja and the second most necessary Commander within the newly established 12 Brigade Nigeria Military, Lokoja, Kogi State.
Apart from Akpaumontia, successful in varied classes have been the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of Information Central TV, Lagos, Mr. Kayode Akinyemi; Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq; Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; This included the First Woman of Nigeria and Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
