The previous Commissioner of Finance in Ondo State, Wale Akinterinwa, has disclosed the method by which his former boss, the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, appointed him as successor to the governorship place.
In a contemporary interview on Friday, Wale claimed that Akeredolu prayed for him to turn into the following governor of the state.

In line with Akinterinwa, his former boss made the revelation after he returned from his medical journey to Germany in 2023.
He stated, “Through the dialog in his workplace he instructed me that he would love me to take over from him. And he prayed for me. I’m additionally conscious that he instructed sure folks about that need. The dialog came about instantly after he returned from Germany.”
Wale is in search of a ticket from the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the upcoming governorship election within the state.
The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, had scheduled the elections for November 16, 2024.

Through the interview, the governorship candidate vowed to defeat the present governor, Fortunate Aiyedatiwa, within the APC primaries.
“At an acceptable time I’ll make my intentions identified. I’m assured that I’ll get the ticket. The persons are with me,”he added.
