The Police in Lagos State, have arrested one Olamilekan Morekeji for allegedly beating his ex-wife, Mary Ololuwa, and utilizing a stone to inflict accidents on her over their youngsters's case.
The command's spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest to our correspondent on Tuesday.
Hundeyin stated the sufferer reported a case of home violence to the Owode Onirin police station at about 3pm on Thursday.
He stated the sufferer was dropped at the station by some sympathizers whereas she was bleeding from the accidents allegedly inflicted on her face by the suspect.

In line with the spokesperson, the sufferer advised the counter every thing that had occurred to her.
In line with Hundeyin, the sufferer stated that on Thursday round 2pm, whereas she was going to her store round Bako Property, Weighbridge Ajegunle, her ex-husband, Olamilekan Morekeji, stopped her and inquired about their youngsters.
“Her response made him indignant, which resulted in him beating her up and utilizing a big rock to hit her on the top and face, significantly injuring her.

“She additional said that it took the intervention of some Samaritans to rescue her on the station the place she was instantly rushed to the hospital in Irawo.
“The suspect has been arrested and brought into custody. The sufferer was photographed and the stones used to inflict accidents on the sufferer have been recovered as proof,” he stated.
Hundeyin stated the case could be transferred to the command's Gender Unit for additional investigation.
