The Nigeria Customs Service has arrested Abdul-Rahman Ibrahim, in his 50s, for his involvement in fraudulent actions and impersonation of the Comptroller Normal of Customs and different senior authorities officers.
This was introduced in a press release on the official X-handle of the NCS on Wednesday.
In response to the assertion, NCS spokesperson, CSC Abdullahi Maiwada, on Monday revealed that the arrest of the suspect was made attainable by intelligence gathered by the Customs Police Unit.
The assertion learn partially: “The suspect, Abdul-Rahman Ibrahim, was arrested for his involvement in impersonating the Comptroller Normal of Customs, Chief of Workers to the President and Secretary of the Ministry of Inside.

The assertion added that Ibrahim confessed his involvement within the fraudulent act and named accomplices within the operation, prompting additional investigations to arrest and prosecute his accomplices.
