Operatives of the Imo State Police Command yesterday raided the hideout of some kidnappers, in Okohia Forest, Owerri West Native Council of the state.
Seven suspected members of the gang had been arrested in the course of the raid. 4 decomposing our bodies had been additionally recovered, believed to be these of their victims. Different gadgets recovered included: telephones, wristwatches, footwear, slippers and so forth.
Led by the Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, the officers launched the operation, in collaboration with the Affiliation of Nigerian Hunters and the Imo State Vigilante Providers. Chatting with journalists, Danjuma reiterated his dedication to rid the state of criminally minded components.
In keeping with him, the commando, beneath his watch, will proceed the assault on all suspected felony hideouts within the state till the lads of the underworld are worn out.
He added: “This morning we recovered about 4 unidentified our bodies and different gadgets. We’re going to focus our actions on this forest, and by God's grace all of the thugs and kidnappers will likely be cleared away. As you’ve seen, we arrested roughly seven folks this morning, and they’re going to face the complete wrath of the regulation.”
