Operatives of the Igando Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two suspects, Hammed Olawale and Japhet Oderinde, throughout a rival cult battle.
The command's Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, introduced this on his X deal with on Sunday.
Hundeyin added {that a} domestically made semi-automatic pistol was recovered from the suspects, including that efforts are on to arrest different fleeing suspects.
He additionally acknowledged that one Abeeb Fagbohun was discovered shot and brought to hospital.
He wrote: “20-year-old Hammed Olawale and 23-year-old Japhet Oderinde have been arrested by operatives of Igando Division after responding to a misery name that two rival cult teams had gone on rampage.
“The 2 suspects had been present in possession of a domestically manufactured semi-automatic pistol with 4 dwell rounds of 9mm ammunition.
“26-year-old Abeeb Fagbohun was discovered shot and instantly taken to hospital. Efforts in excessive gear to arrest fleeing suspects.”
