He wrote: “For Ndigbo, Tinubu’s presidency will likely be decided by how he handles the case of MAZI NNAMDI KANU. Anybody who tells Tinubu in any other case is mischievous and pushes the President onto a path of bitter political battle with Ndigbo. Consider it or not, #MNK is among the pantheons of Ndigbo.”
His remark comes after he dragged the Nigerian authorities earlier than the Home of Lords over Kanu's continued detention.

Ejimakor urged the Home of Lords to intervene within the Nigerian authorities's torture, extradition and detention of Kanu.
In a petition to the Home of Lords Worldwide Relations and Protection Committee, he urged the British Parliament to sanction the Nigerian authorities if it fails to unconditionally launch Kanu and repatriate him to Britain.
