The Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has urged Nigerians to report anybody seen with reside ammunition to curb gun proliferation in Nigeria.

Sharing a photograph of reside ammunition, Adejobi mentioned: “These are reside ammunition, referred to as 'èpà' or 'groundnuts' on the streets.
“They’re lethal and shouldn’t be seen by anybody besides safety officers. Statutory safety guards, no others.
“For those who see them with a pal or citizen, please expose her or him. We should collectively fight the proliferation of arms and ammunition in Nigeria.”
Recall that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, on Thursday paraded 34 suspects of crimes together with armed theft, theft, cultism and illegal possession of firearms for a month.
