The Anambra State authorities on Friday mentioned it had arraigned an undertaker earlier than the Achalla Magistrates' Courtroom over the lacking corpse of a 26-year-old lady.
This was disclosed in an announcement by the Commissioner for Ladies and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, by way of her media aide, Chidinma Ikeanyionwu.
In keeping with the assertion, the family members of the deceased lady, recognized as Okeke Chinonso, approached the commissioner to assist them search redress and find the corpse for correct burial.

It added that when the house owners of the corpse had been able to bury their lifeless, one other corpse was given to them.
The assertion learn partially: “When questioned, the house owners of the corpse mentioned that the undertaker insisted that the corpse they obtained was the corpse they introduced with them, which they (the household) imagine will not be true.
“They claimed that the physique handed over to them was that of an aged lady, whereas theirs was a 26-year-old lady. Additionally they acknowledged that the deposited physique had a low incision earlier than and after dying.”
“However the physique given to them had its hair woven and the physique given to them underwent surgical procedure, whereas theirs by no means underwent any form of surgical procedure.
