Yesterday, the naira fell to N1,260 per greenback on the parallel market in comparison with N1,240 per greenback on Thursday.
Equally, the naira fell to N890.54 per greenback on the Nigerian Overseas Alternate Market (NAFEM).

FMDQ information confirmed that the indicative alternate price for NAFEM rose to N890.54 per greenback from N874.79 per greenback on Thursday, indicating a depreciation of N15.75 for the naira.

In consequence, the hole between the official and parallel market alternate charges widened from N365.21 per greenback yesterday to N369.46 per greenback yesterday.
