A driver of LagRide, a ride-sharing app in Lagos, Adebayo Padmore, has collapsed and died within the Lekki space of the state.
PUNCH Metro realized that Padmore, the Nationwide Vice President of the Amalgamated Union of the app-based transporters of Nigeria, was about to start work on Monday, January 8 when the incident occurred.
The union spokesperson, Jossy Adaraniwon, who spoke to our correspondent on Sunday, stated the deceased, in his mid-40s, had opened the bonnet of his automobile to verify the engine oil when he collapsed on the spot.
Adaraniwon, who complained about what he alleged because the hostile working situations of taxi firms in Nigeria, stated the sufferer was rushed to hospital the place he later died.
