The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee in Kano stated it has made vital preparations for the conduct of the Kunchi/Tsanyawa, Kura/Garin Malam and Rimin Gado/Tofa State Meeting by-elections scheduled for February 3.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner within the state, Abdu Zango, disclosed this on Tuesday when he addressed stakeholders on the fee headquarters in Kano.

“We’re totally ready for the by-elections with our educated election employees able to conduct clear and credible elections to conduct by-elections in six native authorities areas.

“We’re conducting elections at 66 polling stations throughout the six native authorities areas of the state.

“Anybody with no everlasting voter card is not going to be allowed to take part within the upcoming by-elections,” he stated.

Zango defined that the BIVAS machine can be used through the re-elections aimed toward guaranteeing free, honest and credible elections.
