A Non-Governmental Group (NGO), DOW Schooling and Mentoring Basis, has distributed scholarships to a minimum of 50 needy secondary college college students of Ondo State.
The poor college students, chosen from numerous secondary faculties within the state, got checks for his or her tuition, uniforms, sandals, college baggage, textbooks and notebooks.
Founding father of the initiative, Oluwarotimi Williams-Daudu, who spoke on the presentation of the checks, stated the beneficiaries had been distributed amongst 4 native councils of Akoko axis of the state by a committee, in collaboration with the college authorities.
Williams-Daudu, who referred to as on eminent Nigerians to be a part of the initiative, stated his imaginative and prescient was to broaden the scholarship throughout Nigeria, stressing that the initiative got here from his expertise and background rising up.
